Hi, my name is Jenn Makowski! I am 28 years old, and live in Marion Heights with my wonderful husband Mike and our two beautiful children Michael and Elise. My son Michael is 8 years old, in second grade and has recently been tested for the gifted program at MCA!!! My daughter Elise is four years old, absolutely loves PreK & tells everyone she wants to be a teacher like mommy, or a rockstar like Kelly Clarkson(obviously she'll be our handful)!! This is my first year teaching Family & Consumer Science at the Shamokin Jr. Sr. High School. I graduated from Bloomsburg University where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Ed and certification in FCS at the secondary level. Prior to college life, I attended Mt. Carmel Area High School where I graduated in 1998. Throughout my high school education I was actively involved in many extracurricular activities and organizations such as, President of the Future Teachers of America Club, All Star Cheerleading, Spanish Club and National Honors Society. Although hectic at times, I am absolutely loving my first year teaching high school and am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Classroom Technology!
